South St. Aug is a neighborhood movement in St. Augustine South, Florida. We're not a homeowners' association. We're not a club with dues. We're not a political party in the usual sense. We're a group of people who live here and want to see this neighborhood thrive.
We started with a simple idea. The people who live here care about this place more than anyone. So let's get organized, say what we want in plain language, and show up for each other.
What we believe
- Keep it residential. St. Augustine South is a quiet neighborhood of homes, and that's exactly what it should stay.
- Neighbors should have a say. The people who live here should have the loudest voice in what happens here.
- Community is the point. Knowing your neighbors isn't a nice extra. It's how a place stays a place.
- Be kind, be clear, be there. Potlucks, porch talks, and showing up for each other.
How we work
We keep it simple. We state our positions in plain language. We throw events so people meet each other. We keep a list so we can reach everyone when it counts. And we work with the community board and the county as good neighbors.
